SCSA offers three ways for boys to play throughout the year.
Whether your son is just starting out or has been playing for years, it’s always a great time to join in.

fall season

The fall season is SCSA's flagship program — our longest season, with the most games and the most players. It's a great time to join for the first time, and a great time to return.

How it works
The season runs from August through October. Dribblers (U6) and Trappers (U7) play 8 games; all other divisions play 9 to 10. Most games are on Saturdays. The season closes with a two-day end-of-season tournament.

Age groups & divisions
Players are placed by age into divisions that scale in complexity — from 4v4 on a small field for the youngest Dribblers, up to a full 11v11 game under high school rules for the oldest players. No matter the division, the emphasis is on development, fair play, and having fun.

Registration Fall registration opens in May. There are no tryouts — boys of all experience levels are welcome.

Spring season

The spring season is a shorter, more relaxed version of the fall — a great option for boys who want to keep playing between fall seasons, or for families who want to try rec soccer before committing to a full fall season.

How it works
The spring season consists of 5 games, played on Sundays. Teams are formed from returning fall players where possible, though rosters are sometimes adjusted since not every player or coach participates in both seasons.

A note on team placement
If your son played in the fall, he'll generally stay with his team. If he's new to SCSA, or if his division is transitioning age groups, he'll be placed on a team that fits his age and skill level.

Registration
Spring registration opens in January.

SUMMER DAY CAMP

SCSA's summer camp is a week-long program designed to help players develop their skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. It's a great way to stay active over the summer and get a head start on the fall season.

Who it's for
The camp is open to boys of all experience levels — beginners are just as welcome as returning players.

What to expect
For one week, we gather for a few hours each day - usually at Clear Creek fields. Kids are divided up into appropriate age groups to work together to sharpen skills and play together.

Registration
Camp registration opens in the late spring. Space is limited, so register early!
